The Show
As actresses and improvisers Rachel Blackman and Katy Schutte have long been frustrated that the worlds of improvised comedy and theatre are perceived as being poles apart. So they got together with director Alexis Gallagher to develop a show that combines the humour and spontaneity of improvised comedy with the character driven richness and emotional complexity of modern theatre. Add to this a filmic naturalism and the feeling that you’re meeting characters you’ve known your whole life and you’ll come close to describing the experience of watching Katy and Rach.

Katy and Rach are excited to be joining Fluxx at the Brighton Festival Fringe for Without Planning Permission - Actors v Spectators at the Hanbury Ballroom on 6th & 7th May 2010.
